Tsunami watchers by Allen Lockington

The tsunami warning was sent by authorities and people went to high ground. Some people didn’t care and went down to the sea front for their own purpose.
Next time there is a tsunami warning can we arrest people who don’t heed the warning?
May I suggest the penalty be six hours in a cell? When the warning goes out add to it another warning – If you are seen near the sea you will be arrested and held in custody for four hours. The people who went to the sea to see the tide disobeyed warnings and this is tantamount to criminal. If a tidal wave had come government would have to spend money in rescue services.
Lets teach our people a lesson and arrest them if they defy the laws.
