I wish to thank the police for checking up on beggars. Many of them are big time con artists. Begging has become an occupation for them. They prey on the vulnerable, tourists, the religious and even school children.

I remember one time while coming out of a bank one day a beggar asked me for money. I didn’t give any. A couple came after me and he accosted them and asked for assistance. The husband said, “Sorry I don’t have any small change.”

“What do you have?” The beggar asks.

“I only have all fifty dollar notes.” Says the man.

Beggar, “I can change it.”

There are other beggars who are covered in kanikani.
So please do check on the beggars because not only are they a nuisance they are trouble and con artists.
