It has been reported that some parents and guardians are confused about the day when school will start this year.

Please don't be confused people, just prepare your children in advance and he or she will be glad to go to school whenever it starts. Buy their school books and uniforms ready and do some revision with them. If you really have to drink grog, do it at home and get your children to sit with you and do the revision. You kill two birds with one stone. No that should be three birds, the third being quality family time.

By the way, I overheard some children in Waiyavi saying they wished school had started last week. I very nearly cried tears of happiness when I heard them. It’s a miracle. (Say – It’s a miracle in a whisper)

Furthermore, if some grownups are confused, what about the children!
