Vanuatu: Ousted MP says he is victim of Electoral corrupt practices

Ousted Opposition MP Roro Sambo described the judgment on the Efate Election Petition as demonstration of yet another example of corruption at the highest level, accusing the Electoral office of the same.
“Our leaders in the Government cannot beg for stability whilst the same leaders go on to support or procure corruption.
“As a leader of Efate, I will fight corruption to ensure true stability in the country. I cannot tolerate corruption or support corrupt leadership in the Government.
“As the victim of Electoral office irresponsibility, I will fight corruption because I believe that corruption is always the cause of instability.
