Having led 17-0 over Scotland at halftime, Fiji came out in the second hal a bit more ordinary with handling errors sure to worry coach Iliesa Tanivula.

A mistake by Fiji skipper Emosi Vucago allowed the Scottish back into the game if only for a brief minute.

As usual the Fijians have plenty of supporters in baby blue - as always they will be in full voice till tomorrow's knock out stages when the party heats up.

Meanwhile the Waisele Serevi coached Papua New Guinea side scored first against an ever improving Australia side however they lost their match 31-12.

Fiji next meets the Serevi coached team.
