FASANOC awards night sold out

With only 3 days left before the FASANOC Sports Awards it is a sold out event.

The awards which will be held this Saturday at Holiday Inn looks promising with Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist Swimmer Ryan Pini as the guest speaker.

The fun filled night will include entertainment by “Unisound Performers” of FNU School of Arts, Culture & Design and dancing to music of Legend FM.

A total of 9 awards will be presented together with the announcement of the public’s choice for the 2009 Sports Personality of the Year.

With voting closing today at midnight, members of the public have the last opportunity to vote for their favourite sports personality by texting to 818 or calling 130 with a chance to win a return ticket to Auckland/New Zealand flying Air Pacific and $25,000 worth of free talk time.

The FASANOC Sports Awards program honors the sports people of Fiji by recognising outstanding contributions and achievements of both Athletes and Sports Officials.
