Defence key to win says Coach

Tanivula said after reviewing their performance in the New Zealand 7s, that they cannot repeat the same mistakes in USA as all of their opponents will be out to beat them.

"Other national teams will have gauged each others playing patterns and weakness, some of ours were evident," he said.

"However we are working hard to rectify the problems we had and the boys have been responding well."

Tanivula said the players are focusing on improving from last week's win in New Zealand and to become the first Fiji 7's team to win a back to back tournament in the IRB 7s series.

Fiji will play USA on Sunday morning at 8.44am and the second pool game at 11.50 against Canada.

The last pool game for the Emosi Vucago captained side is at 4.14pm when they will meet South Africa.
