Burotu, Ryder out of Aust/HK 7s

Seremaia Burotu and William Ryder have been ruled out of the Australia and Hong Kong 7s tournaments dur to niggling injuries confirmed current national coach Iliesa Tanivula.

"The two experienced players will be missed in the next two toughest leg of the series," he said.

"Both playes wanted to be part of the team but we cannot risk the long term development of the team and the players as well."

Tanivula said these things are beyond his control.

Tanivula will be at the Marist 7s today and tomorrow trying to scout new talents for the Fiji 7s team. But he said the new talents won't be considered for the Australia and Hong Kong 7s and he will pick his 12-man team from the current training squad.

Tanivula will name his team to Australia and Hong Kong 7s next week.
