The Hibiscus Festival is certainly the mother of all festivals. In Fiji that is.

If someone asked me my opinion about the festival, my answer would be that it has the best sponsors, the best supporters, the best volunteers, rides of all kinds, the best dance groups, spinning wheels to win a bit or money, food stalls of all kinds, the best presenters, good looking queens and kings, princesses, and the older queens.

The Hibiscus Festival has improved so much that the organizers have come up with every good thing that can enhance and make a community a better place. I grew up with the Miss Hibiscus Festival when it was still called that. Now men, teen and Missus Hibiscus and have been included and what a fantastic idea.

Having said that, the organizers have thought of everything including the kitchen sink only thing left is a confessional.
