Time share for Presidential Bures

The Presidential Bure’s in Taunovo and Tavakubu in Lautoka will be made available to members of the public who are interested in enjoying the facilities.
Permanent Secretary for the Public Service, Parmesh Chand said Government has decided that the Bure’s be made available on a time share basis to interested members of the public.
He said expressions of interest are invited from those who wish to purchase time share for short term stays up to 7 days over the 11 months of the year these properties are not required for use by His Excellency the President.
He said this initiative is in line with the reforms currently underway, ensuring better use of and return on State assets.
“We will continue to ensure the special significance of these premises being Presidential Bure’s are maintained. His Excellency, the President’s requirements will be foremost and paramount. However as and when they are not required for use by His Excellency, it has been decided by Government that they be made available to interested members of the public who may wish purchase ‘time share’ for use as short term stays,” said Mr Chand.
Deadline for expressions of interest to be submitted is February 27th 2010.
