Accommodating at least 1000 students(with a hostel for boys), the school has come a long way since it’s inception in 1930, having an quality pass rate in all external exams and involves in extra curricula activities including athletics, oratory, quiz, debate, soccer, hockey, swimming, badminton, netball and rugby to name a few.
Our positive overall placing in the Coke Games, historical Under-16 win in the Deans Secondary Schools Rugby competition, retention of the National Badminton Championship and positive and significant strides made in hockey, netball, cricket, basketball, soccer and volleyball have been recorded as just a few of the many fine and outstanding achievements recorded during the 2006 academic year.
The newly introduced Scholastic Crime Stoppers in cohesion with the Prefect Council and Disciplinary Committee allows the staff and students to comprehensively deal with any form of inappropriate behaviour with greater sensitivity resulting in a confident and safe environment conducive to effective delivery of the teaching learning programmes.
Cadet training is also an important aspect of student achievement and Natabua High School has one of the largest Cadet Corp in Fiji with its own cadet band.
It was a great honour and privilege that the Prime Minister, Honourable Laisenia Qarase, reviewed the Cadet Parade of 2006. Today the Cadet Corp remains very much a pride and tradition of Natabua High School.
Life at Natabua High School is mainly geared to making sure that the students acquire the knowledge and skills they require for their futuristic journey.
The school observed the 75th Anniversary in 2005 with the theme “Celebrating Achievement” and will fervently continue to nurture and mould students into outstanding citizens of this nation.
