The District Elders which consists of the four district Nalawa, Nakorotubu, Rakiraki and Saivou then decided to built the school known as Ra high in the Nalawa district. To fund for the school each district had to donate a substantial amount of money to the province. The eleders of Rakiraki then met and decided that it was not to their advantages to send their children to Ra high school because of the long distance travelled and costs they have to meet. So they gave their contribution to the province of Ra for the Province High School and went on to built their own school.
