What do you use your computer for? I know I spent a whole load of money on parts from abroad to build one to play games on. I know some other hobby users that put together video encoding monsters and 3d animators while others setup storage machines to download and watch movies.
Give us some tips on where to get parts from and anything else that you think might be of use.

They say an image speaks a thousand words or your eyes are the window to your soul. Tell us about the photographer in you. Tell us about your camera, and what subjects interest you. Do you wait for the right moment to take that picture or do you click a few 100 times a day to get a multitude of images.
Do you think there are enough workshops and seminars and suppliers available locally to make this a viable business/hobby?
