Sex crimes are atrocious and perpetrators must be given the full brunt of the law.
However, in the case of the man who raped his mother he was only given 10 years. What is the maximum sentence for rape/incest and what must a person do to get the maximum sentence with no parole?
But I wish to disagree with the mitigating factor that the perpetrator’s lawyer had submitted which states that he was mindful of the fact that his act was similar to that of an animal.” Animals do not act with intent to rape. Sex in the animal kingdom is for the purpose of breeding and during mating season only. You don’t see dogs, pigs, cows, horses or cats raping their females. Do you?
Please do not degrade the animal kingdom by referring to it what only a despicable human would do to its own kind.
